patio seamless gutter preventing flooding.

Here you can see we moved the downspouts out far away from the usable patio area.

gutters have careful leveling

With careful attention to detail we were able to control the pitch through 3 corners to ensure that the downspout was placed by the drain hole at the wall.

flat roof draining into gutter

Typical back roof gutter with downspout. But note that we installed a piece of flashing called a roof diverter  on the piece of roof by the endcaps. This prevents water from coming over that side before it reaches the gutter and also prevents us from having to install a more expensive corner piece.

this rain gutter is color matched and going into a drain

seamless gutter in musket brown color

6 inch musket brown gutter. This was a deceptively tricky install. Note that on the low side of the gutter towards the downspout there is a wood pergola sticking out. Also, there were only bare rafter tails and no fascia board. To make this work we had to carefully calculate the square footage of the roof and then decrease our gutter pitch enough to allow the gutters to still function. We then cut the back of the high-side of the gutter to allow it to sit higher, thereby allowing clearance for the pergola. 1 inch wood screws gave us the 3/4" penetration into the wood rafters that we needed.

careful downspout placement.

This is a larger 3x4 downspout. It can clear double the rain of the more typical 2x3 downspout. The combination of the 6 inch gutter, which carries 1/3 more water than a 5" with this larger downspout allowed us to replace a 5 inch gutter system with 2 downspouts that was causing flooding with just this single downspout out of the back yard patio. You can see Jack our installer with the green ladder.

scupper box collector attached to a large downspout

Buckstkin brown scupper box with 3x4 Downspout. This box was original to to the house and had been dented by hail. We utilized bondo, sand paper, and a new downspout with matching paint to bring this back to a new appearance.

Low gloss white gutters complimenting the green house. We put an extension on the downspout with a strap to the wall for stability to ensure that the water reached the drainage swale.
